Notable Quote for the Week

Perhaps not the most accurate depiction but it makes Helen even more beautiful than she was. Image from http://www.annaspooner.com
Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.
Helen Keller
Do you have a favorite quote?

I do, but not from Helen Keller. She had some awesome insight for who had so many difficulties in life.
It’s from a blogger named Nancy: Once we cast off the invisible constraints of fear and guilt, we reclaim our freedom to dive into our dreams and pursue our purpose with passion! Her blog is “Spirits Light The Way” on WordPress.
Great quote!
I like both the quote and the image of Helen Keller. There are so many great quotes, it would be like trying to pick a favorite child.
I know. A person could do an inspirational quote every day for a couple of years.
Very inspirational. I have lots of favorite quotes–depends on my mood.
I love Helen Keller quotes…what an inspiration, in every sense of the word!
I have too many wonderful quotes in mind to name a favorite…just about anything from Helen Keller, Abraham Lincoln, CS Lewis…ah, don’t get me started! ~ Sheila
We could go a long time.
(My apologies for being so DREADFULLY late to this party; I found the link to this post in the bottom of my overflowing in-box.)
I don’t know who first said my favorite quote, but I heard if from Bobbie Seigel, wife of physician Bernie Seigel: “Never consider yourself a failure — you can always serve as a bad example!”
Coming from a long line of people who have been spectacularly good examples of what NOT to do, I take great comfort in this saying.
Love that!!!!!
